My
Journey
Natural history filming is my greatest passion, driven by a desire to connect people worldwide with our natural environments and wildlife through documentaries. I love exploring and documenting new animal behaviours, using diverse technologies and filming techniques to uncover the mysteries of the animal kingdom.
In the past four years, I've been fortunate to work across various continents, capturing the breathtaking beauty of our natural world both above and below the water's surface. My expertise in marine environments has led me to contribute to notable projects for BBC, Disney Plus, and Netflix.
One of my strengths lies in my versatility; I've had the privilege of fulfilling multiple roles in the field, including director of photography, camera assistant, safety diver, skipper, and producer.
REcent Work

For Disney Plus
Shipwreck Hunters Australia is a 6 part Australian documentary-series now streaming on Disney Plus. We explore hidden stories of the deep covering 6 wrecks on the West Australian coastline. On this production I work as an underwater camera operator, on screen talent and co- producer through our production company at Terra Australis where we handle marine logistics and diving operations. We are now in the phase of filming season two to air in 2025.

A major highlight of my career was working as a camera assistant on Christmas Island during the red crab migration. My role involved supporting the Director and Director of Photography to capture the story and get the perfect shots. I was also responsible for setting up time lapses, managing drone footage, and filming underwater during the crabs' spawning event.
The project was challenging due to the unpredictable weather and the tight timeframe to capture the crabs' behaviors. Despite the sleepless nights and demanding conditions, it was incredibly rewarding to document such extraordinary animal behavior. The experience was a testament to the dedication and perseverance required in wildlife filmmaking.

"Life on Our Planet" was an incredible adventure, where we pursued the elusive bait balls of Western Australia. In my roles as a safety diver and camera assistant, I was responsible for setting up camera and dive equipment, as well as keeping a vigilant eye in the water, particularly around numerous sharks. This experience demanded a high level of attention and coordination to ensure both safety and the capture of breathtaking footage.

I was fortunate to work as a safety diver and camera assistant on the recently released BBC series Mammals. For the water episode, we filmed the dramatic predation of humpback whales by killer whales. In this role, I assisted with setting up dive and camera equipment and remained vigilant in the water, ensuring the Director of Photography's safety around these large marine mammals.
